Book review: Boundaries of sanity

Boundaries of Sanity, by

I bought this book after meeting Mira and downloading the kindle sample, in that sequence.

The sample left me craving to read more about Mrinalini, the protagonist of the first story. I finished the story and then returned to the book after a few days, or a couple of weeks actually.

It may seem like a tall order to explore different facets of mental health through 5 stories, but Mira makes it seem easy. That itself is proof how effortful her task must have been.
She writes these lovely sentences which take you to recesses of the mind that would otherwise intimidate you. And sometimes leave you there, lingering, thinking about what is normal and what isnt, struggling with whatever part of you has surfaced unexpectedly.

Then you set the book down, in my case , for a few days, before you return. Because return you must to this compelling collection.

The book isnt an easy read, and the cover itself warns you of that Intense, dark, searing That is correct.

Conversations about mental health are one of the most important conversations in todays times; and this book will make you begin that conversation with yourself

Spilling over the edges is the one that left me with a lot of questions, and a lot of introspection.
